The Marietta Enrichment Center (MEC) is a GCSS Community Life program that offers Adult Enrichment Programming and Youth ADL (Activities of Daily Living) programs. MEC uses a variety of facility and community-based activities to provide participants with supports based on their needs. The goal of MEC
is to ensure participants are involved in activities to help them achieve their
goals of independent living, personal development, self-advocacy,
self-determination and community inclusion.

Who is eligible?
The Adult Enrichment Program includes adults 18 years of age and older.
The Youth ADL Program includes youth 12 to 17 years of age. It is offered before and after school, during school closings and during summer vacation.
Individuals must be diagnosed with a developmental disability and can potentially benefit from the services.
How is it funded? There are several payment options for MEC:
- State Contracted Services (Grant in Aid Funds)
- Medicaid Waiver Program
- Private Pay
- Third Party Sponsorship
