EmployABILITY establishes employment opportunities for individuals
with disabilities in a traditional business environment. Support is provided
through career counseling, on the job training, and individually tailored
supervision.
The EmployABILITY staff work closely with participants to
determine strengths, abilities, and support needs as well as the specific
interests of the consumer. Once the individual has been assessed,
EmployABILITY will work with local businesses to secure employment based
on the needs of the employer and the individual’s qualifications. After the
individual is hired, EmployABILITY will continue to work with the
participant and the employer to insure a successful partnership is in place for
training and completion of essential job functions.
