When and How to Give
Georgia Community Support and Solutions is vital to the individuals and families
who are assisted via our programs. As described throughout this website, these
programs provide education, personal development and self-esteem building
opportunities, and the acquisition of tools and skills that will enable these
individuals to productively and effectively engage in the world outside of their
homes and classrooms. GCSS is the largest provider of these comprehensive and
intensive services for persons with disabilities in the metro Atlanta area.
As expressed by one participant:
“This is all I have. I do not know what I would do if I did not have this
service. Thank you so much."
Your investment in GCSS now will directly impact the lives and futures of these
individuals and their families today, and in turn, the homes, neighborhoods,
schools, businesses and communities of Georgia tomorrow.

The Natalie Tumlin Fund embraces the GCSS mission: to enrich the lives of people
and their families by providing information, advocacy and support, which create
choices to participate in the life of the community, while commemorating Natalie’s
passion for self-determination and independence. Donations through the Tumlin Fund
are once a year annual gifts that assist our individuals in building their abilities
to live independently and within their communities by empowering them to take
control of certain aspects of their own care. Helping individuals gain more control
and competence with their day-to-day living skills turns dependents with a disability
into independents with amazing abilities. Unrestricted annual gifts are applied
toward areas of greatest needs within GCSS. Participate NOW!

Volunteers are an integral part of any nonprofit organization. With limited staff
and over 1350 individuals we support, it takes a large and dedicated volunteer force
in order to fulfill our mission and to make our programs a reality. Our volunteers
take on numerous roles within the organization – from assisting with special events
to working in our day program or supporting the administrative staff, there is an
opportunity for everyone. To begin your volunteer experience, fill out the application
and submit on-line. Someone from GCSS will contact you shortly.
