Art & Food is a GCSS
Community Life program that trains individuals with disabilities to work in the
art and food service industries. The program operates a small catering company
and the art component focuses on all aspects of operating an art gallery,
including purchasing supplies and producing art as well as marketing and
exhibiting the finished product.
Who is eligible?
Individuals must be 18 years and older and diagnosed with a developmental
disability and can potentially benefit from the services.
How is it funded?
There are several payment options for
Art & Food:
- State Contracted Services (Grant in Aid Funds)
- Medicaid Waiver Program
- Private Pay
- Third Party Sponsorship
