Executive Order on Increasing Access to High-Quality Care and Supporting Caregivers

We wanted to make sure you were all aware that yesterday President Biden signed an Executive Order on Increasing Access to High-Quality Care and Supporting Caregivers. The executive order encompasses care broadly, including child care and long-term care, but also specifically focuses on improving access to home- and community-based services. In particular, the executive order notes that investments in the direct care workforce are foundational to helping retain workers, support families, improve health outcomes, and ensure a stronger economy.
